Fall Programs
Hi everyone!
Here is a quick note to let you know that we will be doing P.A. Day Camps here this school year.
The following are the upcoming dates for our P.A. Day Camps,
P.A. Day Camp at Y.A.K. 2009-2010:
Monday Aug. 31
Friday Sept. 4
Friday Sept. 25
Friday Oct. 23
We will not be doing the Monday Nov. 16 as this is my due date for the new baby
Monday Feb. 1
Friday April 30 and finally
Wed. June 30
That is 7 P.A. Days in Total
Our price for individual days is $60. per day
If you are signing up for All 7 P.A. Days it is $45. per day which is $315. for all 7 day camps. This saves you $105.
If you are signing up for 3 or more days but not all 7, the price is $55. per day.
If you would like to register for any or all of the P.A. Day camps for this 2009- 2010 school year please print out our summer camp app form and fill it out for your child and mail it in with a cheque to Y.A.K. Camps at 716 King St. West, Kingston Ontario, K7M 2G2.

FALL PROGRAMS AT Y.A.K & THE BIG WILLOW CHAPEL:
-----PRE-SCHOOL PROGRAMS------
Age: Children 2-5 yrs.
When: Monday 1:30- 3-15 p.m.
Starting: Sept. 14,21,28, Oct. 5,19,26, Nov. 2,9
or,
When: Tuesday 1:30-3:15 p.m.
Starting: Sept. 15,22,29, Oct. 6,20,27, Nov.3,10
or,
When: Tuesday 10:00-11:45 a.m.
Starting: Sept. 15,22,29, Oct. 6,20,27, Nov.3,10
Are you looking for something fun, creative, stimulating yet relaxing to do with your toddler/ preschooler during the day in a large open child friendly space?
I know I am!
Come on down to the Big Willow Chapel at 716 King and spend a bit of time doing a fun earthy craft, something fun for both you and your child.
Have a cup of coffee or tea and a home baked snack.
Program Fee: $150. for 8 weeks, discounts for second child

-----ANIMATION CLUB------
Age: Children 8-13 yrs.
When: THURSDAY nights from 5-7p.m.
Starting: Sept. 17, 24, Oct. 1,8,15,22,29 and Nov. 5.
Club Fee: $160. for 8 weeks
Where: 716 King St. West
Instructors: Pierre Couture
Come and play with digital animation/ claymation along with our friend Pierre who will help kids produce short films with i-movie on our new i-mac computer.
We need at least 5 kids for this camp to run.
-----GAMES CLUB------
Age: Children 8-13 yrs.
When: THURSDAY nights from 5-7p.m.
Starting: Sept. 17, 24, Oct. 1,8,15,22,29 and Nov. 5.
Club Fee: $100. for 8 weeks
Where: 716 King St. West

Is your son or daughter in love with games that you have no idea how to play
like: Pokemon Cards, Magic Cards, Dungeons & Dragons, fantasy board games,
strategy games, Warhammer 40k, Lord of the rings etc? Well send them here because
that is my husband Jon's favorite thing to do! We have tons of games here and you child
is welcome to bring along his or her favorite card or board games as well.
------SEWING/ FASHION CLUB-------
Age: Children 8-up
When: Tuesday nights from 5-7
Starting: Sept. 15, 22, 29, Oct. 6, 13, 20, 27, Nov. 3
Club Fee: $150. for 8 weeks
Where: 716 King St. West
Instructor: Carrie Whalen
Is your daughter or son dying to become a fashion goddess but you forget how to use that old sewing machine in the corner of you wreck room?
Or perhaps she/he got a sewing machine for Christmas last year and you still have'nt got around to unpacking it?
Well send them on over and I will help them start creating all the wonderful things that they have always wanted to sew.
If you have your own home sewing machine bring it along and I will teach them how to use it properly.
If they dont have a machine of their own that is fine too as we have some extra ones here.
-----CLAY/ POTTERY CLUB------
Age: Children 8-up
When: Wednesday nights from 5-7
Starting: Sept. 16, 23, 30, Oct. 7, 14, 21, 28, Nov. 4
Club Fee: $160. for 8 weeks
Where: 716 King St. West
Instructor: Carrie Whalen
In this 8 week program children will work on hand building all sorts of creations out of clay. These fantastic treasure will be fired then painted and glazed each following week.
At the end of this 8 week program your daughter or son will have several lovely, unique and one of a kind Christmas presents ready to be wrapped.
-----CHRISTMAS CERAMIC PAINTING-----
Come by The Big Willow Ceramic Painting Chapel, at 716 King and do some pre-Christmas ceramic painting with your kids.
We have a large selection of everyday ceramics as well as festive pieces to choose from. Young people love painting tree ornaments and these make lovely Christmas gifts that last for years.
When: Just call to book a time to come and do ceramic painting.
Thank you to everyone who partook in this summer's camps. It was a wonderful summer and fun was had by all!
Also thanks to everyone who made donations to send kids to camp. You funded 16 children to attend Y.A.K. Camps this summer from Holy Family School in Rideau Heights , and The Boys and Girls Club.
